Honus Wagner signed postcard, mailed on August 26, 1952, just a few years prior to his passing.  The collector requesting his signature was none other than a young Richard Merkin, a longtime hobbyist known for his outstanding Cuban baseball card collection which has come to auction in recent years.  Wagner signed in black ink, authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA and graded MINT 9. The postcard is in outstanding shape, the signature clean and unencumbered by any wear or stampings.  The postmark and address are equally clear.  An outstanding example of a late-period Honus Wagner signature as collected by a well-known baseball hobbyist.
