Classic shot of DiMaggio from the underrated 1939 Play Ball set, resplendent in the sunshine. Issued by Gum Inc. (to be rebranded after the war as Bowman Gum) the composition of the images used in the set can be stunning, which is certainly evident here. Joe D's entry in this set is a popular one and this PSA 7 is a sharp card with remarkable clarity to the image. Pointed a tad to the upper left, the borders are bright, indeed the overall obverse is as well. The reverse is nice and clean.  Consigned from an original owner collection of 1930s cards, virtually untouched, fresh to the hobby.
