Designated as R318 in the American Card Catalog, Batter Ups were issued between 1934-36 by National Chicle and can be found in an array of colors, none more bright than this striking fuchsia of Dizzy Dean. The cards were die cut, intended to be "popped" for display and higher grade examples such as this PSA 7 are infrequently seen. Dizzy was left alone and is happily intact, with just slight corner wear showing. The white cut line running across the bottom is more prevalent on some cards and colors than others, with the Dean being seen with it fairly often. This card would make an excellent addition to a Hall-of-Fame collection or registry set and would also be right at home in the hands of a Cardinals collector.
