Classic Bambino batting pose from the classic 1933 Goudey baseball card set. This SGC 40 Ruth has seen some handling in its day but nothing too rough. The central image almost pops out from the pastel, almost crayon-like, background. The corners display even wear/rounding and a small bit of foxing or staining shows in the bottom border, with some additional wear along the top edge.  The reverse has a spot of staining as well but retains it's original, bright look with vivid green text shining through. 1933 Goudey Ruths are highly prized in the hobby and this example is a great way to obtain a more affordable example of one of the hobby's most popular cards.
