The rapid growth in popularity of the 1914 Cracker Jack issue in recent years has made it one of the most desirable prewar sets in the entire hobby.  With even lower-grade examples of tough commons reaching well into the four-figure range, cards of Hall of Famers have become incredibly popular, much more so than most other E-card issues.  This example of Athletics pitcher "Gettysburg Eddie" Plank graded GOOD 2 by SGC, perhaps generously.  Heavy staining along the right edge, overall wear, some creasing and soiling along the top are all visible.  The reverse is also heavily stained.  Still, the image of Plank himself remains strong, and the red background is somehow still vibrant against the image.  A tremendous card, coveted in any grade.
