Featuring some of the best photography Topps ever employed, the classic 1957 set signaled the end of one era as it chronicled the last season before MLB expanded to the west coast and the beginning of another as Topps moved to the now ubiquitous standard sizing for their baseball (and most other) cards. This PSA 5 Mantle shows why the set is so popular, with it's array of ballpark backgrounds and clear imagery letting the art of the photographer shine through.  Some obverse surface wear and a push of the image to the upper left appears to have primarily led to the grade.
