Original 5" x 7" Goodwin & Co. glass plate negative emanating from the "Vermont Find." Pitcher Jocko Flynn is depicted in a batting pose with the 1888 Omaha Omahogs of the Western Association. One of four original Goodwin & Co. original glass plate negatives featuring Flynn being offered in this sale. While one of those four negatives were used as source images for N172 cards, this is one of the three yet to be found used on an issued card. Flynn's facial features, cap, and the very top of his bat are slightly out of focus here and there is a small bit of discoloration present around the edges.
