Attractive 14" x 5 1/2" unofficial advertising scorecard preceding the 1916 World Series between Brooklyn and Boston, featuring the 1915 World Champion Boston Red Sox, along with their young pitcher, Babe Ruth. The piece features a scorecard printed on the interior so fans could score a game. Inset images of managers Bill Carrigan and Wilbert Robinson appear on the interior pages along with league stats. The reverse features inset images of the members of both teams, including future Hall of Famers Harry Hooper, Rube Marquard, Zack Wheat and Casey Stengel. Advertising stamp for a Chicago-based tailor appears on the obverse. VG/EX condition with mild toning, some light soiling and the ubiquitous fold down the center.
