Official Frankford Yellow Jackets NFL program from Saturday, October 29, 1927. In a relatively high-scoring affair for the era, the Providence Steam Rollers outlasted Frankford by a score of 20-7. Ken Mercer scored a rushing touchdown for the Yellow Jackets while Providence tallied two rushing touchdowns and connected an 18-yard passing play from quarterback Jimmy Conzelman to halfback Wildcat Wilson for a third TD. Frankford would finish their season 6-9-3, good enough for 7th place in the 12-team early NFL. A heavy vertical fold is present throughout this program and the front cover exhibits scattered wear with pencil notation of "10/29/27" in the lower-right corner. Interior pages present nicely with some rounding of the corners. Measures approx. 7.5" x 10.5".
