Posed in the set position ready to deliver a pitch Johnson gazes to his left the illustrator capturing his intensity. Graded GOOD+ by SGC the card is very attractive and colorful with corner wear being the primary culprit responsible for the grade along with some light wrinkling visible on the card reverse. Still exceptional eye appeal for one of the T206 set's key Hall of Famers. Also we are not confident in SGC's population numbers for this card as there are multiple Piedmont examples in their pop report that do not make mention of which pose the card features. It is entirely likely that many of these cards feature this pose.
