Strong example of the most scarce of the three Christy Mathewson poses in the T206 set this is one of the most iconic Mathewson poses in the hobby seen in various other cards and illustrations of the Hall of Fame pitcher. Graded VG 40 by SGC this example is the stereotypical VG card a strong image with little toning or discoloration marred only by evenly rounded corners and edge wear throughout. Still a beautiful card one of the most important in the set.
