Collection includes the following: 1) News Service and Wire Photo Collection (13): Eclectic grouping of photos from throughout Mays' career, several bearing Mays' signature (unauthenticated but guaranteed), along with several other signatures.  Photos include several vintage Type 1 photos including a 1961 portrait news service photo, along with a number of photos chronicling Mays' life off the field, including civil rights issues he faced during his career.  2) 1952 Giants Spring Training Program: partially-scored in blue ink, team program and scorecard from their 1952 season. VG overall.  3) 1962 Adirondack Bats Catalog: Retail bat catalog for the 1962 season, featuring a composite cover image that includes Hall of Famers Mays, Gil Hodges, and Willie McCovey.  VG/EX.  3) April 11, 1955 Sports Illustrated: Cover photo features Mays and Leo Durocher.  Willie Mays' first magazine cover.  G-VG condition with wear at the spine and edges. Uncut card sheet remains attached inside.  4) 1960s Team-Issued Photo: VG/EX 5) 1968 "Tipps from Topps" Booklet: Includes tips from Mays on how to play Outfield; 6) 1950s Pinback: PM10 pinback featuring Mays with original ribbon and charms, FAIR condition; 7) "WILLIE" Patch: 3 1/2" diameter felt patch with original plastic (opened), VG/EX; 8) Figurine: 2" painted metal figurine, strong appearance but Mays' bat has broken off.  An outstanding collection of ephemera related to one of the all-time greats.
