Topps revived All Star cards in 1968 after a five year pause and went with an innovative horizontal format for players who had earned the honor. The they went and chopped up some large Pete Rose and Carl Yastrzemski black & white images and stuck them on the reverses, creating two puzzles that, no matter how hard you tried, would never quite line up and looked like some kind of weird modern art montage. This Clemente All Star has graded out at a NM-MT 8 at PSA and you can see why, with a sharp image of "Bob" leading the way. Borders and backgrounds look great and the puzzle piece reverse is also tight.
