Distributed only in California by the electronics manufacturer, Packard-Bell heralded the arrival of two new major league franchises by releasing a seven-card set of Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants players. The cards featured team schedules printed on the reverse, and are incredibly difficult to come by today. Presented here is the highest-grade example of the set's key card, that of Hall of Famer Willie Mays. Sharp and clean, well-worthy of it's EX-MT+ 6.5 grade, the card would not look out of place in a NM holder save for some light surface soiling and very lightly-touched corners. One of Mays' more difficult cards, so much that many new collectors are unaware of its existence. A key issue from early in the Hall of Famer's career, in the highest known grade assigned by PSA.
