Nearing the end of what would be a Hall of Fame career, Pee Wee Reese had finished in the top 10 in MVP voting eight times, made ten All-Star teams, and became a Dodgers legend.  In 1956, the 37-year-old shortstop batted .257 with a .322 on base percentage, clearly beginning to slow a bit.  Presented here is a signed contract for Reese's 1957 season, which called for a salary of $36,000.  Signed by Reese (as "Harold H") and Dodgers executive Buzzie Bavasi, the contract is in outstanding condition, the signatures both strong and legible.  Signed player contracts are quite desirable, Hall of Famers even more so, and a contract from a Dodgers legend like Reese is highly sought after.  An outstanding piece.  Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
