Scarce 1939 "quad fold" program, issued by the Baseball Hall of Fame, celebrating the 100-year anniversary of the game and describing the many activities planned in Cooperstown during the summer of 1939. The inside of the program is most interesting, describing Abner Doubleday's since-debunked invention of the game of baseball in the spring of 1839. In VG/EX condition, the scarce program has some minor edge and corner wear, but otherwise displays very well. A historically significant piece relating to the foundation of baseball and its Hall of Fame.
