Framed to a finished size of approximately 28" x 28" this heavy 19th Century piece depicts two 19th Century women participating in the sport of fencing. A spectacular cloth tapestry the colorful piece has been weathered with age the cloth beginning to run and separate at the upper left before being preserved in its current frame. Discolored with age the piece remains beautiful matted and framed behind glass in a contemporary frame with a vintage appearance. A stunning piece.
