Pair of employee passes to Shibe Park in Philadelphia for the 1930 and 31 World Series as issued to stadium employee Mabel Klein. While it is unknown what Mrs. Klein's role with the team or stadium was it's definitely known that she got to witness two great World Series the A's defeating the St. Louis Cardinals in six games in 1930 and the Cardinals defeating the A's in a 7-game rematch the following season. Each of the passes have been hole punched to indicate that the bearer was present at all six games played at Shibe Park during the series. The 1930 pass is in apparent EX condition save for the aforementioned hole punches and the writing of Mrs. Klein's name on the obverse and her name and the name and address of who recommended her (what she was recommended for is unknown but perhaps it was simply who recommended that she receive the pass) on the reverse. The 1931 pass is in G-VG condition with several creases and more pronounced wear along with the aforementioned writing on the front and back. As game tickets continue to grow in desirability season and individual game passes grow as well. With numbers far more scarce than even the game tickets passes like these are highly desirable among collectors.
