With full bleed color nameplates riding portions of two borders, finding a nice looking 1953 Topps card can be a real challenge but this SGC 7 example of "Prince" Hal Newhouser fits the bill. The Hall-of-Fame hurler is captured in goache following through with a pitch in spring training and excepting some small gum residue in the upper left obverse and a small wax stain on the reverse, it presents as a striking example of the second full length Topps baseball set.
