Attractive N173 Old Judge cabinet photo of third baseman Billy Nash, author of a 15-year major league career, mostly with Boston.  Nash batted .275 lifetime, stealing 269 bases.  Among the N173 issue, Boston players are highly prized and difficult to come by, and examples featuring Nash virtually never find their way to public sale.  We have found only one example of this pose to make it to public auction in the last decade.  This example boasts a strong, well-defined image, with some overall soiling evident, largely restricted to the mount, both at the front and back.  A single, visible pinhole passes through the very top edge of the photo, with a second, smaller one visible in the upper-left edge.  Neither dramatically impacts the eye appeal of this tremendously scarce card.
