Unique collection of 17 real photo and mostly amateur team postcards created between approximately 1908 and 1928. 13 of the included cards are real photo postcards, with seven depicting teams or groups of posed players, while the remaining five RPPC's depict scenes from ballparks around the country. Two cards depicting the "Platt Iron Works" team are included, along with an Albertype "Knickerbocker Nine" card (with several pinholes) though these three are printed and not RPPC's. The remaining card is an RPPC and the only card featuring a professional team in the 1928 St. Louis Cardinals. Condition across the lot is superb with only six of the cards appearing to have been postally used. Two or three wrinkles are scattered about the group but otherwise these cards remain in highly presentable, GD-VG shape.
