Printed on newsprint and bound with heavy staples and glue, outstanding 88-page catalog laying out the product offering of the Horace Partridge Company of Boston. The pages are chock full of equipment and descriptions, along with photos of individual players and teams, however, the piece de resistance in this book is its centerfold, which contains the image of the 1915 Boston Red Sox, featuring the rookie photo of none other than Babe Ruth. The 1915 Boston Red Sox team photo postcard regularly sells for six figures ("regularly" being relative, since the postcard is relatively rare). Though the photo is trapped in the centerfold of a lengthy catalog, it appears strong, with little wear. The entire book grades roughly VG/EX with some dog-ears, though the cover is far more worn than that, with a few small tears, some creasing and foxing, and a strip of clear tape at the upper spine. Still, an interesting equipment book, loaded with photos, including a Babe Ruth rookie image.
