Exceptional example of a mid-century Wilson base mitt, this piece remains in NM condition, virtually unused.  Endorsed by Hall of Famer Johnny Mize, the "Big Cat's" facsimile signature and Wilson Logo vibrant and clear, retaining all the original silver stamping.  Supple, clean leather, the piece exhibits some small and insignificant scratches related to age, and some chipping to the piping around the wrist area.  A true beauty.
