Outstanding large-format composite photo featuring the members of the New York State League champion Wilkes-Barre Barons.  The frame itself measures an enormous 26" x 32", with oval photos measuring 5" in height, surrounding 7" high photos of manager Malachi Kitteredge and president J.S. Monks.  Several subjects, including pitcher Fred Applegate, left fielder Rube DeGroff, centerfielder Delos Drake, catcher Mike Konnick, pitcher Herm Malloy, first baseman Pete Noonan, and second baseman Jay Kirke saw major league time during their careers.  The piece exhibits some visible wear, the frame chipped in places, the backing rebacked with modern plastic and held in place with tape which is coming loose; the frame itself is clearly in need of repair.  Some mild staining is evident on the piece itself, notably in the upper-left corner.  Still, an outstanding item, with early photos of several deadball era players.
