Lot Description  

Outstanding ticket stub to the deciding game of the 1940 World Series, a 2-1 comeback win for the Cincinnati Reds on October 8.  The final run was scored by Jimmy Ripple, on a Billy Myers sacrifice fly, giving the Reds the win and their first Championship since the Black Sox series of 1919.  Stub appears in EX condition save for an irregular tear at the perf.
