Clean, well-centered early card of Bob Feller from the interesting 1938 Goudey "Heads Up" issue. While conventional wisdom holds that the second series of cards from this issue - the "cartoon" cards - are more scarce, that is actually not the case. The low number series from this issue are generally more difficult to find, for whatever reason. This proves out with PSA's population report on this card, with 184 examples of the low number Feller having been graded at the time of this writing, compared with 228 examples of the high number version. This example certainly boasts the appearance of a higher-grade card, but a very light crease near the tip of the top-right corner keeps the card below VG/EX.
