It was nearly fifteen years ago that a hobby friend and collector of T206 portrait cards remarked about the Cy Young portrait "It looks like it should be hanging over a fireplace mantel."  Since then, we have echoed that sentiment, our opinion being that the T206 Cy Young portrait is one of the most elegant, regal-looking baseball cards ever manufactured.  This example is extraordinary; surely fitting within the parameters of the technical grade due to centering and corners, but with a sharp, colorful image that boasts perfect print registration.  Simply an outstanding card, a midgrade example that is quickly escalating in price during the hobby boom.
