Outstanding example from the E98 set, featuring a tough green background card of Eddie Collins.  This card is extraordinary, one of the "circulated" E98 cards, produced and distributed in the year of issue.  A recent find of high-grade specimens has altered the population of graded cards of the issue, as virtually all the cards in the discovery were NM or better, since none had ever been circulated and subject to the wear and tear of packaging and handling.  We consider those cards to be almost a separate and unique set, since they were all found together a century after their production.  This example does not originate from that find; it has been with our consignor for quite some time and is one of the higher-grade specimens, as these cards are typically found in lower grades.  Well-centered with a slight tilt, some surface soiling along the right edge, and a bit of honest corner wear.
