Over the course of the past several years, cards of Willie Mays have begun to skyrocket, as the hobby begins to discover the other greats from the 1950s worthy of joining the likes of Mickey Mantle as the key players of the era.  Aside from his immensely popular 1951 Bowman rookie card, the 1952 Topps issue is his most popular mainstream card, the portrait image capturing the young Mays' intensity.  This example has been graded VG 3 by PSA due to corner wear, a bit of mild toning evident.  Outstanding image quality, surface and centering for the grade.
