Important premium issued by a Canadian radio show which issued many premiums in the late 1940s, including many boxers.  In general, the premiums are difficult to find, and the complete checklist is still unknown.  This example is historically significant because it features a team photo of the 1946 Montreal Royals.  The photo features most of that season's team, which of course included Jackie Robinson in his minor league debut.  Though several other well-known names appear, it is the presence of Robinson that lends this piece its considerable significance, a true pre-rookie card featuring one of the greatest names in all of collecting, and certainly one of the most important names in sports.  The premium has been graded VG/EX 4 by SGD, though we cannot discern why, as it appears to have corners consistent with an EX grade, along with a clean surface and clear image.  Regardless, the historical importance of the piece cannot be overstated.
