Ambidextrous pitcher Tony "Count" Mullane was the author of a 13-year major league career that saw him win 30 games or more five times, while throwing a record 343 wild pitches.  Nicknamed "Count" due to having the appearance of royalty due to his grooming, Mullane was featured in seven different poses in the N172 issue.  This example boasts exceptional eye appeal due to outstanding image clarity, strong centering and square corners, with a very slight diamond cut reducing the technical grade.  Still, an outstanding card, quite well-preserved for the issue.
