Perhaps our favorite of a group of T206 Hall of Famers originating from the collection of a Southern California gentleman who built a small collection of higher-end prewar cards in the 1980s and 90s before third-party grading gripped the hobby. Each of the T206 cards received AUTHENTIC grades when submitted to SGC, including this one, a beautiful portrait card of Hall of Famer Joe Tinker. On this example, the upper edge does appear more sharp than the lower, which is often considered evidence of a slight trim, and should certainly be considered here. Regardless of the technical grade, an outstanding, well-centered card.
