Issued inside specially-marked boxes of Wheaties in 1987 were attractive and colorful 5" x 7" posters featuring football players.  Produced by Statline, Inc., the posters were folded and wrapped in cellophane, each containing a full-color image of one of the stars of the game, with the back containing biographical information.  Advertised as a 25-card set, posters of Bernie Kosar and Lawrence Taylor were not listed as being part of the set in the checklist, but were either pulled from the set or from production altogether, and are considered scarce.  Presented here is a complete 27-card set, including both Kosar and Taylor, plus the promotional advertising panel from the back of the box (which lists the 25 cards).  The posters present exceptionally well, the folds long ago flattened, with sharp imagery, edges and corners.  27 posters total, plus the cardboard advertising panel.
