Outstanding trio of Polo Grounds ticket stubs from the 1951 World Series, simultaneously the final October appearance of Joe DiMaggio and the first of both Willie Mays and Mickey Mantle.  Collection includes the following:  1) Game 3: Giants 6-2 victory as the Yankees were without Mantle, who suffered a devastating knee injury in Game 2.  The Giants scored five runs in the 5th and coasted, the Yankees scoring one each in the 8th and 9th.  Ticket is in FAIR condition with age-related discoloration, light wrinkling, and an irregular tear at the perf.  2) Game 5 (2 tickets): Pair of tickets to watch the Yankees destroy the Giants, 13-1 behind excellent pitching from Eddie Lopat.  Gil McDougald and Phil Rizzuto would homer for the Yankees.  Side-by-side tickets grade GOOD and FAIR, respectively.  Three stubs total.
