Collection of six cards from the important 1887 N172 Old Judge Cigarettes issue.  Each of the cards has been trimmed across the top of the card, each exhibiting paper loss or paper remnants on the reverse, from having been removed from a scrapbook.  Despite the trimming and reverse issues, each of the cards features a strong image with excellent clarity and focus, likely preserved from fading by spending time mounted in the scrapbook.  Collection includes the following:  Sam Barkley (19-6), George Pinkney (370-4), Danny Richardson (385-2), Jimmy Ryan (396-2), Ezra Sutton (448-5), and Edward Tate (452-1).
