Collection of ephemera related to the Ted Williams Baseball Camp in Lakeville, MASS, which ran from 1958 through the early 1980s and offered both day camps and sleep away camps with sessions lasting as little as two weeks. The paper ephemera dates to 1958. The collection also includes the following: 1) Signed Youth Jersey: Outstanding youth large-size jersey with the Ted Williams brand tag (as sold by Sears Roebuck), "TED WILLIAMS CAMP" stitched onto the chest. Four-button jersey is well-worn but in excellent condition, signed by Williams in blue fiber-tip marker. 2) Ted Williams Camp Cap: youth-sized cap with the Ted Williams Camp patch stitched on the front. Well-worn, the name "SCHCNEECK" written in ink on the inside of the bill. 3) Ted Williams Camp Patch Pair: Pair of sew-on patches - one small, 2 1/2" x 2" oval patch as sewn onto the cap, unused, EX condition, and a second, 3 3/4" x 5 1/4" two-color cap featuring a line illustration of Williams. EX condition but appears to have been stitched onto apparel, perhaps a jacket or uniform sleeve. 4) Ted Williams Camp Baseball: Promotional baseball, likely modern, manufactured in China, EX condition with very light wear. 5) Ted Williams Camp Mini Bat Pair: Includes 16" Louisville Slugger mini bat in NM condition, and 8" no-brand mini bat, also NM 6) Felt Pennant:18" felt pennant, likely of more recent vintage, VG/EX condition with some light soiling.
