Infielder Larry Gardner enjoyed a 17-year major league career between Boston and Cleveland, the majority of which he spent in the starting lineup. Underrated, Gardner batted .289 lifetime, driving in 118 runs with the 1920 World Champion Indians, and following Athletics season with 120 RBI, at 35 years of age - his two best seasons. Presented here is an attractive real photo postcard of Gardner, a close up of the third baseman, his glove at his waist. Some writing along the bottom border identifies the player, some paper remnants and pencil writing on the reverse reduce the technical grade but not the eye appeal.
