Outstanding real photo postcard picturing the pre-Fenway home of the Boston Red Sox the Huntington Avenue Grounds. Photos of the park are seldom seen desppite the historical significance of the park - it is the location of the first-ever World Series game. The photo pictures fans making their way onto the field presumably after the conclusion of a game. The image is clean as is the surface of the front. Postally used in 1908 the writing and postmarks on the reverse are responsible for the technical grade. The field would be demolished after the Red Sox began playing at Fenway the location is now the site of the Cabot Center an athletic faccility that is part of Northeastern University.
