Pair of 1930s New York Yankees official scorecards. Collection includes: 1) 1935 Scorecard: Appears to be from the Opening Day game on April 16 a 1-0 Boston Red Sox victory in a pitchers duel between Wes Ferrell and Lefty Gomez. Ferrell scattered two hits and walked none in a masterful performance George Selkirk and Lou Gehrig with the only hits for the Yanks. POOR condition the spine repaired with clear tape significant paper loss around the edges and the interior pages detached. 2) 1937 Scorecard: Game two in a July 5 doubleheader against the Red Sox an 8-4 Yankees victory. Gehrig and DiMaggio both homered for the Yankees Joe Cronin for the Sox. EX condition some light pencil notes on the cover the interior pages neatly scored. Two Yankees/Red Sox scorecards from the 1930s each chronicling an interesting regular-season game.
