The Robins scored eight runs off 'Ol Pete who nonetheless threw a complete game walking two and giving up 14 hits. Hall of Famer Zack Wheat went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored and right fielder Hi Myers went 3-for-5 with two more RBI for Brooklyn.
