Outstanding grouping of 12 official St. Louis Cardinals scorecards ranging in date between 1927 and 1940. Collection includes: 1) 1927 Scorecard: 13-2 rout by the New York Giants on July 30 the Giants rapping out 16 hits and drawing 5 walks against Art Reinhart and Bob McGraw while Freddie Fitzsimmons threw a complete game for the Giants. GOOD condition with upper corner clips. 2) 1930 Scorecard: 15-4 Cardinals victory in Game 1 of a July 4 doubleheader. Nearly scored FAIR condition due to separation at the fold repaired with clear tape. 3) 1931 Scorecard: Unused scorecard for a game against the Pirates. Hall of Famers noted include Frisch Bottomley Haines Grimes Dean Waner Waner Traynor. VG/EX appearance with heavy wear at the fold. 4) 1932 Scorecard: Unused for a game against Boston. Hall of Famers include Frisch Bottomley Dean and Maranville. POOR condition torn in half at the fold repaired with clear tape. 5) 1934 Scorecard: 10-4 Cardinals victory over Cincinnati on July 7 Jack Rothrock going 5-for-5 and Burgess Whitehead and Spud DAvis each going 4-for-5 for St. Louis. Handwritten note inside indicates "Winston caught Comororksy's foul ball " quite a memory for Winston. FAIR condition. 6) 1935 Scorecard: Unused for a game against the New York Giants. Hall of Famers include Frisch Medwick Durocher Dean Haines Terry Ott and Hubbell. POOR condition torn nearly in half at the fold. 7) 1936 Scorecard: Unused for a game against the Giants. Hall of Famers inside include Ott Hubbell Medwick Durocher Dean Terry Frisch Mize. GOOD condition corner clip at the lower-right severe wear at the fold. 8) 1937 Scorecard: Oddly-scored game against the Giants. The date June 26 is written inside a 5-3 Giants win. VG/EX condition. 9) 1937 Scorecard: July 28 against the Giants an 8-4 New York victory with home runs by Mel Ott Wally Berger and Johnny Mize. VG condition severe age-related staining inside but neatly and carefully scored. 10) 1938 Scorecard: Oddly-scored game against Pittsburgh some newspaper clippings are included in the interior fold which has resulted in some discoloration. Otherwise strong. 11) 1939 Scorecard: Oddly-scored game against Boston dated August 3 "II game" on the cover. Boston took the second game of a doubleheader that day 4-3 scoring a run in the top of the 9th on a Sibby Sisti groundout. Jim Turner and Mort Cooper both threw complete games. Strong appearance but heavy pencil notations throughout including what looks like a few math equations. 12) 1940 Sco
