Rare and attractive full-size 1949 Boston Red Sox pennant set on bright red felt with primarily white graphics along with a green colored grass area within the Fenway Park graphic. The names of the team's players appear in reverse-out printing within the words "Red Sox" on the pennant. Graphics are strong and bright with some mild wrinkling and cracking. Tassels appear intact. The most obvious flaw is a small area where the felt has torn away along the top edge right near the white reinforcement. Otherwise strong.
