Outstanding complete 1952 Bowman set the final baseball card set issued prior to the 1952 Topps issue that's popularity changed the size of baseball cards to a much larger 2 1/16" x 3 1/8" where it would stay until being slightly reduced with Topps' 1957 issue. The 1952 Bowman set is quite similar in design to the 1951 issue the block lettering on the front replaced with a facsimile autograph the reverse design virtually identical.
