Collection of items related to the Pinch Hit brand of chewing tobacco. Includes the following: 1) Tin Advertising Sign: 9 1/2" x 14" tin lithograph sign featuring attractive imagery in shades of red and blue manufactured by the Ohio Art Company of Bryan Ohio a company founded in 1908 and best known today as the manufacturer of the classic toy Etch-A-Sketch. The company began making tin lithographed items in 1912. Well-worn the piece does exhibit surface wear and oxidation along the edges particularly at the grommets in each corner. Scuffing and wear is apparent throughout the edges exhibiting some bending and misshapenness consistent with use. 2) Pinch Hit Tobacco Package: Clean 15-cent chewing tobacco package housed in its original wrapper. Wrapper is somewhat loose at the edges simply due to age with some stray tobacco pieces occasionally leaking out as is consistent with century-old tobacco packages. Two items total outstanding tobacciana and baseball-related displays.
