Similar to the Collins-McCarthy issue we featured in our Summer 2020 catalog the issue catalogued as H801-8 utilizes the same 200-card base set (though some variations are known within the Collins-McCarthy issue) a clean and stark black and white photographic issue similar in design to a number of other sets released in the early 1920s. Featuring promotional advertising for a Chicago department store the cards are very scarce and desirable today. We have obtained a large assortment of cards from the set including several of the keys. Recognizing the difficulty of obtaining individual cards from the issue we have elected to offer them card-by-card in an effort to help individual player and type collectors to obtain more affordable examples for their collections rather than grouping them in large lots to sell to the highest bidder. Rarely does such a large assortment from the issue appear at auction and it is our pleasure to offer them here. Lightly-rounded corners are the primary condition flaw with this exceptional midgrade example one of the more plentiful cards in the issue according to SGC's population report but with just six examples grade "plentiful" is certainly a relative term.
