Spectacular artifact created by a young baseball fan in the San Francisco area a young fan named Lorne Forbes who apparently was a patient at a hospital in San Francisco. She created an autograph book which was signed by a number of visitors to the hospital including members of the 1934 San Francisco Seals. The most important signature of course is the pre-rookie signature of Joe DiMaggio applied in pencil along with a decidedly DiMaggio-like inscription ("Hoping you get well right away").
