One of several regional advertisers to use this 200-card black-and-white issue for promotional purposes most notoriously associated with the Collins-McCarthy Candy Company of San Francisco. The version of the set associated with the Weil Baking company of New Orleans has been assigned the ACC number D328 and contains the same 200-card checklist. One of the keys of Pirates shortstop Honus Wagner (HOF) is presented here one of the more difficult cards of all the issues bearing this design. Graded FAIR 1.5 by SGC the card appears stronger but a series of light spider wrinkles at the lower left reduce the technical grade. The eye appeal of the card remains strong however a very attractive photo of Wagner issued in the final year of his playing career.
