Well-worn ticket stub to a 1918 Chicago White Sox home game at Comiskey Park. The undated ticket is well-worn with significant surface wear and creasing. The 1918 White Sox finished in 6th place in the American League a far cry from their 1919 result with many of the familiar names from the 1919 club underperforming or not quite reaching the skill level the would attain later. Additionally many of their key players were lost to the war. Regardless a historically important ticket due to its age and number of players that would become part of the infamous Black Sox Scandal the following season.
