Sturdy high-end 34" bamboo cane featuring a highly-polished ivory handle engraved with an early baseball scene at the top. Possibly unique the piece likely dates to the 1880s and remains in spectacular condition for its age. An entire baseball team is depicted in miniature in the engraving along with opposing batter and umpire. Given its age and limited space the engraving is incredibly detailed. The bottom of the cane appears to be brass with all components remaining solid and firmly attached. An incredibly rare baseball-themed relic that has remained in outstanding condition for well over a century.
