Lot Description  

Outstanding early leather helmet entirely intact with original fabric chin strap. Despite being somewhat matted the interior padding remains in place some light scuffing on the exterior serving as evidence of use. Heavier wear is apparent on the left side of the helmet. Original stitching is largely intact. A tremendous display a very desirable early piece of equipment.
